It was lovely to welcome Avril Chidell and her daughter Charlotte back to Aldwickbury this weekend. They were on a grand tour during Charlotte's visit to the UK. Time spent with Avril is always a delight and as ever there were more Aldwickbury tales to hear!

For all of you who were wondering if you were in the other half of the photo shown on the England Rugby film showing the World Cup players here is the complete photo. Colts B team 2006 - a team with a mix of Year 5 and 6 boys. Jack was in Year 5 at the time.

We have just recieved a lovely parcel of memories from the family of Miss Dympna McEneaney who was matron at Aldwickbury during the 1960’s and 1970’s. She retired in 1978. It included this letter to parents detailing the arrangements for the day. Does anyone remember going to this?
