In July the Chairman of Govenors, Jerremy Bromfield, OBE, wrote to the current parents to inform them that Vernon Hales, and his wife Claire, have decided that, after 18 years of exceptional service to Aldwickbury, Vernon will be retiring from the headship at the end of July 2021. It wouldn't be acceptable now to publish individual reviews of the 1st XI these days but it does make for interesting reading! Do let us know your memories of cricket at Aldwickbury.
